Obituary

Helen M. Wells, age 95, wife of the late Richard C. Wells Sr., long-time Limerick Township resident, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in the Reading Hospital. Born on December 30, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Gottlieb and Hattie (Agnes) Ebinger.

Mrs. Wells was a 1947 graduate of Spring City High School. She was a faithful member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Schwenksville, singing in her beloved Choir where she would often sing solos. She was an avid equestrian and had a love for animals. She was proud of her little farm in Limerick Township where she enjoyed riding, caring for her horses and collecting antiques. She was a loyal employee for the Valley Forge Sewer Authority for many years before her retirement.

Mrs. Wells is survived by her son, Richard C. Wells Jr, husband of Betty, their children Jacob Wells, husband of Megan, parents of Elliott, Maeve and August and Lauren Wells Baker, wife of Davin, parents of Sydney and Maxwell.

Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her daughter Diane M. Wells. Diane's surviving children, daughter Kathleen Jefferis Lasher, wife of Brian, their children Brenden Lasher, Mikayla Farmer, wife of Tyler, Jenna, Emilee and Ashlynn Lasher and son Charles Jefferis, husband of Elizabeth, their children Thomas Cutler, Shannon, Michael Paul and Maggie Quinn, Trinity and Reagan Jefferis.

Mrs Wells is also survived by three siblings, Elizabeth Place of Royersford, William Ebinger of Elverson and Shirley Miller of Phoenixville.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service in the Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 E. Arcadia Drive, Limerick, PA 19468 on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 11:30 AM. Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Royersford. Condolences may be offered online at www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
