Henry A. Arms, age 90, husband of Fay E. (Horner) Arms, of Royersford, PA died Monday evening, March 10, 2014 in the Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, PA. Born in Stowe, PA, he was a son of the late John L., and Jenny (Bower) Arms. A US Army veteran, Mr. Arms served in the European Theater during World War II. He was a proud part of the invasion at Normandy. He received 3 purple hearts during his time served. Mr. Arms worked for many years at the Bethlehem Steel Plant in Pottstown, then worked for himself as a licensed plumber in the area.
In addition to his wife of 33 years, Mr. Arms is survived by two sons: Dennis N., husband of Christine Kuterbach, of Pottstown, PA; Henry L. Arms, of York, PA; five step children; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; Mr. Arms was predeceased by one son: David U. Arms and seven siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis--Klotzbach Funeral Home, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA 19460, on Saturday, March 15th, 2014 at 10am. Officiating will be the Rev. Ruth A. Chartier. Burial will be in the Parker Ford Baptist Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9-10am Saturday morning at the funeral home.
