Henry "Hank" Okonski, Jr., age 49, a long-time resident of Phoenixville, died January 2 of complications from leukemia.?? He is survived by his wife, Carol Coady Okonski and their son Henry Michael of Phoenixville, and by his sister Dolores Okonski of Manayunk.? Born in Philadelphia, Hank was the son of the late Henry Okonski and Josephine (Dob) Okonski.

A master Toyota technician, Hank graduated from Harriton High School in Lower Merion.? He was most recently employed by Conicelli Toyota.? Hank loved all things mechanical and was respected among friends and family for his expertise on everything from automobiles to computers.? He was generous with his knowledge, which he offered to his extended family, friends and community.??? He loved the out-of-doors and shared that enthusiasm with his son Henry and many friends.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 7, at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville.? Friends may call from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 pm., Sunday evening, January 6, at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 601 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, or from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Monday, January 7, at St. Ann.? Burial will occur in St. Ann Church cemetery.
