Henry E. Williams, Jr., age 86, of Trooper, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 in the Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville. Born on April 17, 1930 in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late Henry E. Sr. and Anna (Dietz) Williams.
Mr. Williams worked as a printer for the Allenwood Steel Company, AEL, and then Sorbus before retiring in 1984. Following his retirement, he drove school bus for the Perkiomen Valley School District for twenty years. He enjoyed dirt track racing, and had an HO slot car track for his children in his basement. Providing for his family was his main focus, and he enjoyed traveling to Ocean City, NJ with his granddaughters and teaching them how to fish. In his earlier years, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, and his love of two wheels continued as he rode his scooter everywhere in his later years.
Mr. Williams is survived by two sons, Paul E. Williams, companion of Jacque Harris of Ocala, FL and Mark H., husband of Jody Williams of Boyertown, PA; three granddaughters, Lauren A., wife of Christopher Blendy of Pottstown, Staci L, wife of Brendan Fink of Mt. Penn, and Kelley M., wife of Dylan Rowan of Royersford; great-grandchildren, Emma R. and Caleb W. Blendy, Taylor L. Fink, and Olivia G. Rowan and her sister on the way. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by one daughter, Hope Levy in 1980 and one half-brother.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. James Roth. Burial will take place in the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia. Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday evening, June 21, 2016 from 6:30-8:00 PM, or on Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:00 AM.
