Irene Clemens, age 101, Wife of the late Irvin Clemens, Jr. of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 in the Manatawny Manor, Pottstown, PA. Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Julia and George Brower.
Irene was a retired seamstress from National Knitting in Royersford and the Spring City Knitting Mill. She had a passion for crocheting, enjoyed puzzles, and loved the beach.
Irene is survived by her children Mary (the late Robert) Ziegler, and John (Donna) Clemens, four Grandchildren, seven Great-Grandchildren, and her brothers John and Paul Brower. She was preceded in death by her sisters Theresa McClintock and Dottie Slifer, and brothers George, and Francis Brower.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Father Paul Brandt, Pastor from St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish. Burial will follow in the Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Irene's name to St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473.
