Isabelle (Williams) Powell "Polly" Croft, age 83, wife of R. Thomas Croft of Elizabethtown, PA, formerly of Phoenixville, PA died Tuesday morning, July 6, 2010 in the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Isabelle (Powell) Williams. She was a graduate of the Lower Merion High School. She was a member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Malvern. Mrs. Croft worked with her husband in the former Crofts Stationery store in Phoenixville for many years. She was a member of the Embroidery Guild Association of America, U.S. Tennis Association, the Tennis Addiction Club in Lionville and the Philadelphia Zoological Society. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, bocce, and tennis.
In addition to her husband , Mrs. Croft is survived by Daughter; Cornelia "Corny", wife of Domonic Franklin, of Cleveland, OH, and their two children; Jessica Gamble, Andrew Franklin, Daughter; Caroline Reynaud, of California, and one cousin; John Powell, of Gladwyne
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 11:00AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Maxine M. Dornemann. Burial will be in the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Malvern. Friends will be received from 10-11AM Saturday morning at the funeral home.
