J. Arthur "Art" Smallwood II, 60. husband of Jacqueline (Binan) Smallwood, of Limerick, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, in his residence. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Mary (Pierce) and Joseph Smallwood.
Art received an associate degree in business from Montgomery County Community College and had been employed at Genuardi Markets for 40 years. He was a member of the Royersford Church of the Nazarene, where he taught Sunday School to teens and had worked with teen groups for many years.
In addition to his loving wife of 39 years, Mr. Smallwood is survived by his children, Jeremy Andrew Smallwood husband of Chrystal J., and father to Anna Lindsay and Kaitlyn Belle Smallwood of Lavelle, PA and Lani Beth Smallwood, of Limerick, Ashley L. Bricker, daughter by choice, of Limerick, of Limerick, sisters, Nancy, wife of William Kichline, of Pottstown and Laural Murray, companion of Ken, of York, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Royersford Church of the Nazarene, Fifth Avenue and Washington Street, Royersford, on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Larry D. Powell officiating.
