Jack H. Jones, age 85, husband of the late Frances J. (Weth) Jones, of Upper Providence Township, PA, formerly of Shannondell in Audubon, PA and Roxborough, PA, died Saturday evening, January 9, 2010 in the Parkhouse Providence Pointe Nursing Home. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harold J. and Grace E. (Danner) Jones. Mr. Jones was a graduate of Roxborough High School and the Pennsylvania Maritime Academy. He worked as a marine engineer and his career took him to ports all over the world.

Mr. Jones is survived by two daughters, Melodee E., wife of Frank Mack, of Royersford, PA and Susan F., wife of Robert E. Knaub, of Harrisburg, PA, one son, J. Michael Jones, husband of Margaret, of Sedona, AZ, seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Mr. Jones was pre-deceased by his sister, Tenneriffe Weth.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 10:30 AM. Burial will be held privately in the Ivy Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30 - 10:30 AM Friday morning at the funeral home.
