Jack E. Pelen, Jr., husband of Elizabeth A. (Marencic) Pelen, age 80, of Phoenixville, PA, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in his home. Born on February 19, 1935 in Harrisburg, PA, he was a son of Jack and June (Hertzler) Pelen. He was a graduate of John Harris High School, Harrisburg, PA. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Air Force for over 20 years. He worked as a Medic for the Air Force, then worked for Graterford Prison, and finally for the Montgomery County Geriatric and Rehabilitation Center.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Pelen is survived by Daughter, Kathleen A. Nailon of Phoenixville, PA; Son, James E., husband of Holly Pelen of Pottsville, PA; . Mr. Pelen was pre-deceased by Son, David A. Pelen, Sister, Nancy Megolas.

Funeral services and burial will be held privately in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, PA.
