Jacob R. Bible, age 91, husband of Faye (Overdorf) Bible, of Douglassville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 26, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at the Keystone Villa. Born on March 12, 1927 in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Jacob & Anna (Bradford) Bible.

Jacob was a kindhearted, hardworking family man. He served his country proudly in World War II. Jacob worked for many years as a carpenter for the Local 405 Carpenters Union. He was very talented with his woodwork and would make custom handmade furniture whenever he had the opportunity. He would do so up until the age of 85; it was his greatest passion. He was also involved in many organizations with the St. Vincent UCC Church, as well and the Senior Fellowship Group in Limerick. In his spare time Jacob loved to travel in his motor home to Florida with his loving wife Faye. They would often visit Bonita Springs, and would later on find themselves traveling to Lake Placid, FL. Jacob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great‑grandfather, and dear friend to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be missed by many.

In addition to his loving wife, Jacob is survived by his step‑daughter, Janet (Chester) Mosteller; one granddaughter, Kaitlin (Christopher) Robinson; three step‑grandchildren, Amy (John) Fream, Katie (Matthew) Davis, and Brian (Alyssa) Christman; two great‑grandchildren, Dylan & Savannah; and seven step‑great grandchildren, Cora, William, Emma, Cooper, Carson, Andrew, and Eleanor.

In addition to his parents, Jacob was pre‑deceased in death by his first wife, Evelyn Shoots, and his beloved daughter, Sharon, wife of James Hollenbach.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Jacob on Wednesday October 31, 2018 from 9:30‑11:00am at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St. Royersford, Pennsylvania. Services will follow the calling time at 11:00am at the funeral home. Committal services will follow at 11:45am in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, 39 Bonie Brae Rd., Spring City PA. 19475.
