Obituary

James F. Brobst, of Spring City, PA died of multiple myeloma on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Phoenixville Hospital at age 55. He was the husband of Ruth A. (Friedhofer) Brobst.

He was born in Phoenixville to the late Ray S. and Evelyn M. (Mitchell) Brobst. He attended Owen J. Roberts High School and worked in the maintenance department of Spring-Ford School District as well as farming for many years in East Coventry. He also was an active member of A.A. since 1990 and loved hunting and fishing. His greatest accomplishments were raising two wonderful children, his 30 years of marriage, and his sobriety.

Mr. Brobst is survived by two daughters: Erin M. Goodhart and husband Bradley, of Exeter and Sara A. Brobst, of North Coventry; one sister, Ruth Ann Good and husband Kenneth, of East Coventry; one brother, Samuel Ray Brobst, of Douglassville; two grandsons, Jedi Buting and Bryce James Goodhart and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 1:30 PM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA. Officiating will be Rev. Linda S. Gruber. Burial will be in East Coventry Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society,The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Donor Services, P.O.
