James W. Christman, husband of the late Glenna E. (Dilliplaine) Christman, formerly of Coventryville, PA died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. He was 88.
Born on April 10, 1927 in Spring City, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Jacob and Edith (Baily) Christman. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Christman worked as a Truck Driver for Jones Motor of Spring City and Pottstown Roller Mills before retiring.
Mr. Christman is survived by Five Daughters: Dawn L. (Robert) Richard of Pottstown, PA, Gerri A. Streett of Parkesburg, PA, Patty L. (Glenn) Moran of Pottstown, PA, Rosemary A. (Marvin) Eisenhauer of Cumberland, MD, Carol A. (John) Miller of Boyertown, PA; Two Sons, Jack L. Christman of Westfield, PA, James W. (Sharon) Christman Jr. of Boyertown, PA; Two Sisters, Betty (Late Raymond) Keeler of Stowe, PA, Dorothy (Late Edward) Banks of Sanatoga, PA; Brother, Carl (Lois) Christman of NY; There are also 19 grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren,4 Great-Great-Grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Christman was also pre-deceased by nine siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Good Shepherd Mausoleum Chapel at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10:00 am.
