James L. Custer, 75, husband of Maryann V. (Morott) Custer, lifelong resident of Royersford, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 in Phoenixville Hospital. Born on August 12, 1942 in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Elda (Good) and Lester Custer.

Jim was employed as a forklift operator for Wetherill Assoc. Inc., formerly of Linfield. He was a life member of Friendship Fire Co. in Royersford.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Custer is survived by his daughter, Rhonda K. Custer, of Pottstown. He was preceded in death by his sons, James D. Custer and Glenn L. Custer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Donald B. Eisenhauer. Interment will be follow in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Spring City. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to the American Heart Association, P.O.
