Obituary

James W. Farrell, age 85, loving husband of Carolyn (Fischer) Farrell, of Limerick, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2020 in the Seasons Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 23, 1935 in Escanaba, Michigan, he was a son of the late Thomas & Mary (Holland) Farrell.

James served his country proudly from 1954-1958 in the United States Coast Guard. James would later go on to attend and become a graduate of the McCarrie School Of Mechanical Dentistry, and would work for many years as a dental ceramist before his retirement. He was also a dedicated member of the Faith Of Phoenixville Church and taught in the Sunday School program for 35 years at Vincent Baptist Church. After finding his faith, James walked with the Lord for 70 years and was most well known for his love of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and dear friend to all, and he will be missed by many.

In addition to his loving wife, James is survived by two daughters, Barbara (William) Waltz, and Deborah (Charles) Thomas; One son, James (Angela) Farrell Jr.; Five granddaughters, Elizabeth Waltz, Emily Waltz, Rebekah (Daniel) Hower, Courtney (Scott) Russum, and Sarah (Jungo) Sato; One grandson, Seth Thomas; One great-grandson, Brycen Russum; And one brother, Robert Farrell.

James was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Lori Farrell, and his 10 siblings.

Services for James will take place privately at the convenience of the family at Good Shepherd Chapel, in the Limerick Garden Of Memories. A memorial service for the public will be held in James memory at a later date. Contributions may be made to the Faith Of Phoenixville Church, 1015 Livingston Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
