James W. Hoffman, age 79, husband of Kathryn R. (Mattis) Hoffman, of Royersford, PA, died Friday evening, September 4, 2009 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Kenilworth, PA, he was a son of the late Henry and Margaret (Miller) Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman worked for the Pottstown Plating Works for over 45 years before retiring in 1987. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Spring City. He enjoyed fishing and just being outdoors at his cabin in Waretown, NJ.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, Mr. Hoffman is survived by One Sister; Joan Albert. Mr. Hoffman was pre-deceased by ten brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Erick J. Kern, Jr. Burial will be in the St. Vincent United Church of Christ Cemetery, Spring City, PA.
