James J. Hunsberger, age 71, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at home. Born on November 15, 1951 in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late Harry and Jane (Hood) Hunsberger.

Mr. Hunsberger was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School. His favorite job was being Pop Pop to his three loving grandchildren, all of whom he adored and loved spending time with. He was an avid reader, and he enjoyed playing the guitar and watching the Phillies.

Mr. Hunsberger is survived by two children, James J. Jr., husband of Amber Hunsberger, and Beth Ann, wife of Matthew Comber; three grandchildren, Jacob, Ryan, and Emma; four siblings, Barbara Alessi, Patricia Ruser, Nancy, wife of Mike Bonenberger, and Harry Hunsberger Jr.; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held privately. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society by visiting cancer.org/donate.
