James G. Leveille better known as ``Butch'' to his friends, passed away
on Thursday, August 26, 2021 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Pottstown PA he was a son of Frances H. and Mary G. (Heckman) Leveille.

James was married to his loving wife Judith K. (Rosendale) Leveille for 59 years,and resided in Gilbertsville, PA. In addition to his wife he is also survived by 2 children, daughter Lauren wife of Edward Pringle of Southport NC, and son James G. Jr. of Pottstown. Also 2 grandsons which were the apple of his eye Mark and Brian Pringle. A sister Margaret Downie of Cedar Grove NJ and a brother David Leveille of Austin TX. He was predeceased by 2 sisters LaRue Leighton and Gloria Astheimer and a brother Robert Leveille.

James was a member of Pottstown Elks Lodge #814 BPOE, Masonic Lodge #254 F&AM and Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Pottstown. He truly enjoyed coaching the Trojans football teams at Pottstown Central Jr High
and the High School. In 1982 he coached the Trojans to win the Ches-Mont Championship. He was also inducted into the Tri-County Sports Hall Of Fame, which he was very proud of. He enjoyed cooking, especially his special pizza and working in his yard. But his biggest happiness in life was spending time with his grandsons Mark and Brian.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Pottstown Education Foundation, C/O Football program, 230 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home Inc, 610 Main St. Phoenixville, PA 19460. The funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
