James Theodore Mackey, 54, of Whitpain Hills, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. He was the husband of Maryann Quinn.

He was born in Baltimore, MD to the late James G. Mackey Jr. and Patricia A. (Rosensteel) Mackey, of Wayne, PA. After graduation from Conestoga High School, he earned a B.S. in Psychology from Gettysburg College. Mr. Mackey was a behavioral technician for thirty-two years at Brooklyn Behavioral Health, Ft. Washington, PA.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a step-daughter, Nikki Quinn at home; sister, Joanne M. Priem, and husband Robert, of Berwyn; and nieces: Karen, Emily, Kelli and Sarah.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at St. David's Episcopal Church, 763 South Valley Forge Road, Wayne, PA 19087 at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
