James A. Neary, age 100, husband of the late Kathryn (Eltz) Neary, of Spring City, PA, formerly of Phoenixville, PA, died Thursday evening, February 17, 2011 in the Southeastern Pennsylvania Veterans Center in Spring City. Born in Treverton, PA, he was a son of the late Timothy and Ora (Kramer) Neary. Mr. Neary attended school in Treverton. He was a safety director for over 20 years at the former Jones Motor Company in Spring City, PA. He retired from Jones Motor in 1967. Mr. Neary and his wife were members of the Chester County Antique Car Club for many years.

Mr. Neary is survived by one daughter; Susanne E., wife of William R. McVay, of Spring City, PA, one son; Michael J. Neary, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Mr. Neary was pre-deceased by one sister.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 10:30AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Donato P. Silveri. The graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 2:30 PM at the Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.
