Jane E. (Addis) Batchelor, age 89, wife of the late William L. Batchelor, Sr., to whom she married in 1943, of Naples, FL, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011. She was a daughter of the late Clarkson and Ann (Heinrich) Addis.

Mrs. Batchelor was a doctor in podiatric medicine. She was a lover of horticulture, becoming a daffodil judge. Mrs. Batchelor rode to the hounds with her beloved family under the family hunt of Perkiomen Hunt. She continued fox hunting with her husband and two sons under the name Whitelands Perkiomen Valley Hunt.

Mrs. Batchelor is survived by two sons, W.L. Batchelor, Jr., of Reading, PA, and Frank J. Batchelor, of Chester Springs, PA; four grandchildren, Hope, Ann, Jennifer, and Andrew; and three brothers.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in the Old School Baptist Church Cemetery, Southampton, PA.
