Jane B. Guest, age 89, widow of late Thomas S. Guest , of Lafayette Hill, PA and formerly of Pottstown, died Thursday, October 26, 2017 in The Masonic Village at Lafayette Hill.

Born on June 1, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late Laurence and Irene (Hanson) Boedker. Mrs. Guest graduated from Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing in 1948. She later earned her Master's in Nursing Education from West Chester University. She was a registered nurse for 45 years, serving in the Cadet Nurse Corps. during World War II and spent the final 25 of those years as a school nurse for the Pottstown School District.

Jane was a member of Coventryville United Methodist Church and the Pottstown Century Club. She also volunteered at the Pottstown Library.

She is survived by three children: Douglas P., husband of Joan Guest of Hatfield, PA; Janet G., wife of Timothy Van Sant of Baltimore, MD; Daniel T., husband of Kathryn Guest of Philadelphia, PA; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Coventryville United Methodist Church, 1521 Old Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA 19465 on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Pastor Will Humes. Burial will be held in the Coventryville Cemetery. Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, PA and Wednesday from 9:30-10:15 am at the church.
