Jane E. Votta, age 76, wife of James C. Votta of Royersford, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at home with her loving husband of 53 years by her side. Born in Newton, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Marion (Patten) Downing.

Mrs. Votta was a graduate of Newton High School in Newton, MA. She retired from Brokerage Concepts in King of Prussia, PA after many years of employment. Mrs. Votta attended the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Royersford, PA. She loved to read and complete crossword puzzles. She was thoughtful and caring, always putting others first, and offering her assistance, love, and kindness wherever she went. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Votta is survived by two children, Greg, husband of Jen Votta of Ocean, NJ and Dawn, wife of Todd Cunningham of Havertown, PA; and three grandchildren, Christian and Jake Votta and Katelyn Cunningham. She was preceded in death by one brother, George Downing. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Deacon David M. Kubczak. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 AM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Phoenixville Hospital Cancer Center, 824 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
