Janet (Heffline) Yerrington, age 90, wife of the late Harold C. Yerrington, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012 in the Manatawny Manor, where she has resided for the past ten years. Born in Royersford, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Idella (Tyson) Heffline.

Mrs. Yerrington was a graduate of Royersford High School and the Norristown Business School. Before starting her family, she worked for the Red Cross at the Valley Forge Army Hospital. A lifelong resident of Royersford, she was a member of Royersford United Methodist Church, where she served in the Women's Society, sang in the choir, and helped for many years with the church supper. She enjoyed good music and reading. Most important to her was her family. She was a wonderful inspiration as a mother to all.

Mrs. Yerrington is survived by one daughter, Fay, wife of David Groff of Narvon, PA; four sons, David, husband of Terry Yerrington of Gilbertsville, Rev. Philip Yerrington, husband of Nancy of Whitehall, PA, Thomas, husband of Mary Yerrington of Dallas, TX, and Timothy, husband of Robin Yerrington of South Bend, IN; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother Robert Heffline.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford on Thursday, January 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be her son, Rev. Philip Yerrington. Burial will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received Thursday morning from 10:00-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Red Cross, where she had been a faithful blood donor for over 50 years, 2221 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
