Jean A. Bogar, age 73, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 in the Kindred Hospital - Havertown. Born on June 28, 1949 in Wilmington, DE, she was a daughter of the late William H. II and Jean (Armstrong) Bogar.

Jean was a 1967 graduate of Alexis I. DuPont High School in Wilmington, DE. She went on to receive her BS in Nursing from the University of Washington. Following graduation, she originally worked for the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. After moving back to the east cost, she worked for and retired from the Bryn Mawr Hospital after 20 years.

Jean was a voracious reader and animal lover. She enjoyed horses, riding and showing her horses for over 35 years, as well as attending fox hunts.

Jean is survived by one brother, William H. "Chip" Bogar III, fiancé of Carol Wright of Chestertown, MD and her loving dog, Rosie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 11:00 am.
