Jean A. Coakley, age 85, wife of the late Earl Coakley, of Selinsgrove, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in The Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove. Born on February 15, 1932 in Radnor Township, PA, she was a daughter of the late Wilber and Cora (Snyder) Leech.
Mrs. Coakley worked in sales for Sears then in management for the Warrington Motor Lodge. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Selinsgrove VFW Post 6631, and enjoyed playing cards.
Mrs. Coakley is survived by one son, David A. Downing, companion of Sue Wolfe of Quakertown, PA; one granddaughter, Danielle Downing of New Britain, PA; and two sisters, Doris Strunack of Spring City, PA, and Janice DeVito of Warrington, PA. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Graustein, one brother, Wilber Leech II, and sister, Katherine Leary.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Ralph W. Owens. Burial will be held privately. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home.
