Obituary:
Jean I. (Haldeman) DePietropaolo, 92, wife of the late Flory J. DePietropaolo, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on September 7, 1924 in Royersford, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Lovena (Springstead) Haldeman.

Jean resided in the Royersford area for most of her life. She was a 1942 graduate of the former Spring City High School. She had been employed in the art department at the former Valley Forge Flag Co. in Spring City, for 18 years, until her retirement in 1962. Jean was a member of Trinity Lighthouse Church. She was an avid sports fan, enjoyed watching cowboy and World War II movies and loved to build doll houses.

Mrs. DePietropaolo is survived by her son: David DePietropaolo, of Royersford; daughter: Carol, wife of Dennis Jefferis, of Royersford; and grandson: Brandon DePietropaolo, of Royersford. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Charlene H. Kirkner and sisters: Evelyn Benfield and Grace Place.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Pastor Wayne Houck. Interment will follow in the Fernwood Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6:00 - 7:30 PM Tuesday evening and from 10:00 - 10:30 am Wednesday morning at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lighthouse Church, 66 S.
