Jean M. (Coine) Renninger, age 81, wife of the late Grant H. Renninger, of Blue Bell, PA, formerly of Phoenixville, PA, where she lived all of her life, died Tuesday evening, October 20, 2009 in the Blue Bell Place Care facility. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Marie (Bell) Coine. She was a 1945 graduate of the Phoenixville High School. Mrs. Renninger was a life-long member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Phoenixville. She worked for over 30 years for the Werner Bus Company in Phoenixville. She was an avid fan of the Phoenixville Phantoms and Philadelphia Eagles Football teams.
Mrs. Renninger is survived by; Four Daughters; Pat Renninger, of Pottstown, PA, Janice, wife of Francis Weiss, of Roxborough, Nancy Renninger, of Mont Clare, PA, Betty, wife of Stephen Welsh, of Eagleville, PA, One Sister; Dorothy Collins, of New Jersey, Five Grandchildren; Caitlin, Benjamin, Andrew, William, Molly, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Renninger was pre-deceased by Two Brothers; Robert and Donald Coine.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 355 St. John's Circle, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Friday morning, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Cynthia L. Krommes. Burial will be in the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 10:45 AM Friday morning at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the "St. John's Lutheran Memorial Wreath Fund" at the above address or to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
