Jean Mildred Turner of Royersford, PA, age 90, wife of the late Donald Richard Turner, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 in Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born on May 7, 1927 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Fannie Gerlufsen. For many years, Mrs. Turner worked as a Secretary for Edison Twp. Board of Education before retiring.
Jean and Donald retired to Florida and lived there until Don's passing in '91. At that time she moved to Royersford to be with family until she entered Parkhouse in 2015. Jean was a loving Mom, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother always caring for family and friends, a beautiful and gentle soul who will be dearly missed by many.
Jean is survived by Son, Richard D. Turner of New York, NY; Daughter, Patricia Ann Turner, of Austin, TX; Two Granddaughters: Vanessa Barnaik of Spring City, PA and Melinda Turner Pautsch of Huntington Beach, CA; three Great-Grandchildren: Julian and Maxwell Barnaik and Braxton Pautsch. She was also pre-deceased by Brother, Homer Gerlufsen.
Visitations will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 5-8 PM and Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 4-5 PM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, PA.
