Jean (McClintock) Weidner, 85, wife of the late Brooke Weidner, of Chester Springs, PA died Wednesday October 2nd, 2013 at the home of her daughter Barbara (Weidner) Donaldson in Stuart, FL. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. McClintock & Edith (Brower) McClintock Holwood.

She was employed by Fidelity Bank in Philadelphia, in the personnel dept., where she met her husband Brooke. They moved to Chester Springs, PA to raise their family. She enjoyed writing letters and poems, and playing the piano. She enjoyed all people. She was an active member of St John’s Lutheran Church until her move to Florida in 2010.

She is survived by 4 children: son Bradford T. Weidner, of Phoenixville, PA, son Douglas M. Weidner of Chester Springs, PA, daughter Jill S. Weidner, of Glenmore, PA, daughter Barbara (Weidner) Donaldson of Stuart,FL; 8 grandchildren: Sheri (Weidner) Tuski, Jason Weidner, Christina (Karkoska) Tauss, Wm. Weidner, Whitney Weidner, Peter Weidner, Barbara J. Gomez, Nicole E Gomez; 8 great-grandchildren: Anthony Tuski, Nicholas Tuski, Braydon Tuski, Madelyn Weidner, Michaela Tauss, Mason Tauss, Liam Stowe, Remy Stowe; and 7 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Mellon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at St John’s Lutheran Church, 355 St. John’s Circle, Phoenixville, PA 19460, on Saturday, October 19th, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:45 am. A luncheon is to follow at St. John’s. A private burial will follow at St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Chester Springs, PA.
