Obituary

Jeanette L. (Michinock) Buski, age 85, wife of the late Charles Buski of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born on September 11, 1938, in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Kathryn E. (Rutter) and Frank C. Michinock.

After graduating from Phoenixville High School, Jeanette attended beautician school and later worked as a hairdresser out of her home on the weekends. She had been employed as a waitress at the Trio in Phoenixville, holding other jobs until her most recent employment at Almac in Collegeville until her retirement at 72 years old.

Jeanette was a creature of habit who enjoyed her structured routine. She like watching murder mystery series, such as Perry Mason, on TV, and games shows like Wheel of Fortune, The Price Is Right and Let's Make A Deal. She also enjoyed making her weekly grocery shopping into her social hours.

Mrs. Buski is survived by her children: Cheryl Lynn Wagner; Charlene, wife of Bruce Charles; Robert Matthews, husband of the late Katherine Matthews, and Russell Matthews, grandchildren: John Irwin, John Mattis, Genevieve Mattis, Russell Matthews, and Vincent Matthews; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; and her precious, faithful companion till the end Butch C. Buski. She was preceded in death by siblings: Kathryn Wilson, Charles Michinock, Marion Bower, and Joseph Michinock.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Ann's Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel Arechabala. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-10:45 AM at the Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made in Jeanette's name to a charity of choice.
