Jeanette L. (Armold) Clymer, age 86, wife of the late Jay P. Clymer, of Peckville, PA, formerly of Wayne, PA, died early Tuesday morning, July 31st, 2012 in the Laurels at Mid-Valley, Peckville, PA. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Elvina Armold. She was a graduate of the McCaskey High School in Lancaster, PA. She then attended business school in Lancaster. Mrs. Clymer worked as an executive secretary for Bell Telephone in Lancaster. This is where she met her husband, Jay P. Clymer, Jr. who preceded her in death. They were married for 58 years. She was a member of the Calvary Fellowship Church in Valley Forge, PA.

Jeanette was a women of simple pleasures like a picnic, good chocolate,
a favorite TV comedy, and family. She was a very generous woman, who would give you anything she had. She especially loved babies and her pets. She will be greatly missed by all.

Mrs. Clymer is survived by two daughters: Julia, wife of Steve Ericson; Jennifer Clymer; one son Jay P. Clymer, III, husband of Elizabeth Clymer ; one Sibling, Venita Draude ; seven grandchildren: Christianne Clymer, Joy Nice, Steve Ericson Jr., Rebecca Ericson, Timothy Ericson, Candace Clymer, and Colin Clymer ; five Great Grandchildren: Taylor, Eliza, Tristen, Trey, James, and many nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank the employees of the The Laurels Skilled Nursing Home for the wonderful care they provided for nearly eight years; moreover, they were more than caregivers, but real friends to her and the rest of the family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352 S. Gulph Road, King of Prussia, PA on Friday afternoon, August 3rd, 2012 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Calvary Fellowship Church, 501 East Swedesford Road, Wayne, PA 19087.
