Obituary

Jeanette L. (Stipa) Hennessey, age 79, wife of Henry J. Hennessey, of Royersford, PA passed away early Saturday morning June 5, 2010 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Spring City, PA, she was a daughter of the late Alvin C., and Clara (Mancini) Stipa. She was the valedictorian of her class in the Salem one room schoolhouse in Spring City. She also graduated from both the Spring City High School and the Pottstown School of Nursing. Mrs. Hennessey was a nurse who worked in the office of Dr. DeWitt Dabback in Royersford. She then took time off to raise her family. Mrs. Hennessey then worked as a school nurse at the Royersford Elementary school from 1978-1993. She was a long term member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Royersford, as well as the Women's club at the Church. She enjoyed many lovely summers with her family at the Nine Oaks Swim Club and on many family reunion vacations. She was always an uplifting figure in every life she touched.

In addition to her husband of 48 years, Mrs. Hennessey is survived by three children; Patrick J., husband of Maria (DePietropaolo) Hennessey, of Collegeville; Susan J., wife of Charles Grazioso, of Schwenksville; Theresa, wife of Raymond Woodward, of Phoenixville; three step-sons; Henry J. Hennessey, of MO; Francis X. Hennessey, of NJ; Joseph J. Hennessey, of CA; two brothers; Alvin C. (Shirley) Stipa, Robert (Barbara) Stipa, seven grandchildren; Christina, Kaitlyn, Sean Hennessey, Jessica, Melissa, Eric Grazioso, Aiden Woodward, six step-grandchildren; Michael, Noreen, Shaun, Erin, Joseph, Mary Cate, two step great-grandchildren; Molly and Paul, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Wednesday morning, June 9, 2010 at 10:30AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Timothy M. Judge. Burial will be in the St. Patrick's Cemetery, Norristown, PA. Friends will be received at the Cattermole ??" Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:30PM or from 9:00-10:00AM Wednesday morning.
