Jeanne M. (McGrath) Byrne, age 84, wife of the late Joseph J. Byrne, of Kimberton, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, died Thursday afternoon, May 15th, 2008 in the Phoenixville Hospital.? Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Edna (Peterson) McGrath.? Mrs. Byrne was a graduate of the Olney High School in Philadelphia.? She worked as a bookkeeper for the Cheltenham Bank for over 15 years before retiring in 1989.? Mrs. Byrne was a former member of the St. Williams Roman Catholic Church in Philadelphia.?
Mrs. Byrne is survived by two daughters; Margaret M. Byrne, of Dresher, PA, Christine M., wife of Anthony Gryscavage, of Limerick, PA, one son; William M., husband of Renee (McBride) Byrne, of Collegeville, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.? Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road and Walnut Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Wednesday morning, May 21st 2008 at 10:00AM.? Officiating will be the Rev. Timothy M. Judge.? Burial will be in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville.? Friends will be received from 9:00 -10:00 AM Wednesday morning at the Church.?
