Jeannette E. Rapp, wife of Grant L. Rapp Jr., of Phoenixville, died on Friday, July 18, 2008 in the Phoenixville Hospital surrounded by her loving family.? Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Mary E. (King) Herr.? She attended Mont Clare and Phoenixville Schools.? Jeannette was employed by National Liberty Insurance and The Vanguard Group, respectively.?
Jeannette was a former election official, serving in the Phoenixville West One ward.? She was also a member of the West End Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the National Rose Society.? An avid gardener, Jeannette grew over 200 roses in her yard.? In addition to her husband, she is survived by children: Olivia "Libby", wife of Robert Jones, of Rock Creek, OH, Grant L. III, husband of Donna (Collopy) Rapp, of Pottstown, George W. Rapp, of Phoenixville, Lloyd J., husband of Jennifer (Poore) Rapp, of Houston, DE, Gary L. Rapp, of Phoenixville, and Amy L., wife of Dennis Himes, Sr., ?of Phoenixville; sister, Marie Herr, of Norristown; brother, William Herr, of Fairfield, CA, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.? In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild.?
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 610 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA.? Officiating will be the Rev. Ozzie Vader.? Burial will be in St. Vincent U.C.C. Cemetery.? Calling hours are on?Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.?
