Jeffrey R. Moses, age 66, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026. Born on April 24, 1960 in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of Phyllis (Fulmer) Moses of Phoenixville and the late Ralph Moses.

Jeff was a 1978 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School. He went on to have a long career as a courier for the Pottstown Mercury and the Penny Pincher. He was a lifelong member of Coventryville United Methodist Church.

Jeff loved spending time with his daughter. He coached her little league teams, and would go on to become a PIAA baseball umpire and a local basketball coach. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fox hunting with the Kimberton Hunt Club, and most especially fishing. He was a founding member, and current club President, of the Coventryville Trout Club. He was also a member of the Pottstown Elks Lodge #814, Pottstown Quoit Club, and the Pottstown German Club.

Jeff found joy in organizing group bus trips to the Delaware Park Racetrack and Penn State Football games. As a devout fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, he also attended Spring Training games in Florida and traveled with the Green Legion for Eagles games.

In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by one daughter, Makayla, wife of Daniel Villarreal; two siblings, Missy, wife of Keith Walton and Scott, husband of Shelly Moses; five nieces and nephews, Brandon (Rachel), Justin (Hannah), Brooke (Bryan), Kierstin, and Megan; and several Aunts and Uncles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at Coventryville United Methodist Church, 1521 Old Ridge Road, Pottstown, Pennsylvania on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Scott Stevenson. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9:00 AM-10:45 AM in the Church on Friday morning. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Coventryville United Methodist Church at the address above or to a charity of your choice.
