Dr. Jeno B. Seitz, 90, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Friday, November 5, 2010 after a sudden illness. He was the husband of Brigitta M. (Maloveczky) Seitz.
He was born in Budapest, Hungary a son of the late Jeno L. and Emilia (Bauman) Seitz. Dr. Seitz earned Doctorates in Political Science and Law from Pazmany Peter University in Budapest. After emigrating with his family on February 27, 1957, Jeno went on to a career with Western Electric as a systems equipment engineer.
Among his activities, he and Brigitta were active members of the Philadelphia and Vicinity Hungarian Sports Club. However, his family was the center of his life. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was fortunate to see and spend time with the three generations of his family that followed.
In addition to his wife of sixty-four years, he is survived by two sons: Istvan S., husband of Jeanette Seitz, of Boyertown and Jeno B., husband of Agnes Seitz, of Bensalem; one sister: Franciska Seitz, of Romania; four grandchildren: Christina Kuter wife of Steven, Deborah Ward wife of Brian, Jeno A. Seitz husband of Tamara and Endre J. Seitz husband of Katie; and five great-grandchildren: Charles D. Kuter and Alexander S. Kuter, Jack A. Ward and Aedan M. and Jeno P. Seitz.
His Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Beech and Hanover Sts., Pottstown, PA 19464. Friends will be received from 10-11 AM.
