Joan L. (Walters) Campbell, age 70, wife of James L. Campbell, of Royersford, PA died Tuesday morning, April 30, 2013 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Harriett (Carty) Walters. She was a graduate of the Schwenksville High School and the Empire Beauty School. Mrs. Campbell worked as a cook at the former Teeters restaurant in Royersford. She was an active member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Royersford for many years. She enjoyed her time with the crafters group at the Church. Mrs. Campbell was a devoted wife and adored the time she could spend with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, with whom she would have celebrated their 50th anniversary on June 8 of this year, Mrs. Campbell is survived by three children: Susan L., wife of Timothy D. Snyder, of East Coventry; James M. Campbell, of Pottstown; Kelly L., fiancée of Brian D. Eichenberg, of Royersford; two siblings: Robert L., husband of Joan Walters, of Gratersford; Bonnie E. Kerwin, of Pottstown; four grandchildren: Ashley, Tyler, Abigayl, Elliott; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Main Street at Sixth Avenue, Royersford, PA on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Janelle L. Krais and the Rev. Paul H. Neff. Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 9:45 - 10:45 Monday morning in the welcome center at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Grace Lutheran Church, 594 Church Street, 1st floor, Royersford, PA 19468.
