Joan D. (Clark) Darnell, age 71, wife of James H. Darnell, of Royersford, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 in the Paoli Hospital. Born on October 23, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late George D. Jr. and Elsie A. (Danmyer) Clark.

Mrs. Darnell was a 1968 graduate of Perry Hall High School in Baltimore, MD, and attended the Essex Community College of Baltimore County. She loved the Lord, as was shown throughout her life as a Christian school kindergarten teacher and as a member of Valley Forge Baptist in Collegeville, PA.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Darnell is survived by two children, Branson J., husband of Amanda Darnell of Pottstown, PA and Kelly N., wife of Alex Kupinski of Elverson, PA; six grandchildren; one brother, Donald G. Clark, husband of Patricia Clark of Oxford, MD; and a niece and nephew, Aaron and Carrie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at Valley Forge Baptist, 616 S. Trappe Road, Collegeville, PA on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Officiating will be Rev. Scott E. Wendal. Entombment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 11:00 am - 12:45 pm Tuesday at the Church.
