Joan L. (Haines) Devlin, 73, wife of the late Dennis T. Devlin Sr., of Phoenixville, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 in Seasons Hospice. Born on July 19, 1942 in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late J. Franklin and Dorothy (Rogers) Haines.
Joan had been employed as a beautician at the former CJ's beauty salon in Phoenixville and also at The Gateway and Fashion Bug. She enjoyed cooking and dancing, was a long time QVC shopper and loved her cat, Billy.
Mrs. Devlin is survived by her brother, John F. "Jack," husband of Linda Haines, of West Chester, PA; nieces, Maureen Troutman, Denise Devlin, and Traci Gross Cappel; nephews, Bryan Haines, Deron Haines, Michael Gross and Kevin Gross; many great nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. Joan was preceded in death by her son, Dennis T. Devlin, Jr. and sister, Dorothy Mars.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 148 Church Street, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Joseph A. Heim. Interment will follow in the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30 - 10:45 am Tuesday at the Church.
