Joan T. (Hillock) McCloud, wife of the late Thomas R. McCloud Sr., of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 in LifeQuest Nursing Center, Quakertown. Born on March 31, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (McGrath) Hillock.

Mrs. McCloud had been a waitress at the Brauhaus German Restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia. She loved the outdoors, and along with her husband, owned several bungalos in New Jersey. Their love of the water also led them to own a cabin and then a camper in the Poconos. Joan was the matriarch of the family, to whom family was everything. She was a caregiver to family, friends, and anyone in need.

Mrs. McCloud is survived by two daughters, Joanne Britner of Sellersville, PA and Kathleen, wife of Louis Lumi of Phoenixville, PA; two sons, Thomas R. Jr., husband of Joann McCloud of Philadelphia, PA and David McCloud of Philadelphia, PA; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. McCloud was preceded in death by one grandson, Thomas R. McCLoud, III.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass at St. Ann Chapel, 604 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. John J. Newns. Burial will be held in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA. Friends will be received from 9:00 am - 10:15 am Thursday at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville.
