Joan E. (Lindley) McQuiston, 84, wife of the late Charles W. McQuiston Sr., of Phoenixville, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in her residence. Born on December 16, 1933 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Helen M. (Lukert) and James H. Lindley.

Joan was raised in the Roxborough area and had been a longtime, 50 year resident, of Narberth, prior to relocating to Phoenixville. She had been employed for 30 years in customer service for Philadelphia Electric Company.

She was a huge Phillies fan, having watched almost every game over the last 20 years. Joan's grandchildren were her everything. She attended all of their local events and even attended college football games for three of her grandsons.

Joan is survived by her son: Charles W. McQuiston Jr., and wife Amy, of Phoenixville; grandchildren: Travis(wife Katie), Matt, Sam, Alec, Ainsley, Conor and Declan McQuiston; and two great-grandchildren: Maude and Malloy McQuiston.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joan's name to the Phoenixville Marian Youth Club (PMYC) to the attention of PMYC, at 331 Woodmere Way, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
