Joan R Suloff, age 84, wife of the late David F Suloff, of Phoenixville, PA, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born on August 23, 1933 in Ridley Park, PA, she was the daughter of Charles and Helena (Brown) Mason. She was a graduate of Lansdowne High School Class of 1951. Joan spent many years volunteering and serving at the Phoenixville Area YMCA, where she worked at the indoor program and in Baker Park office in the summer. She was proud to be a stay at home mother raising her four children. Later in life she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her dearly loved husband, David. She also was an avid gardener, socializer, knitter, reader, crafter, and a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Joan was known for her spunky, loving, warm, and social personality and her inner strength.
Joan Suloff is survived by three sons: Glenn (Valerie) Kelsey of Saratoga Springs, NY, Gary (Cindy) Kelsey of Hanover, PA, Randall (Lori) Kelsey of San Diego, CA and daughter, Sandra (Seth) Bacon of Pottstown, PA; two brothers, Charles Mason of Stroudsburg, PA and Frederick Mason of Media, PA and six grandchildren: Jessica (Kelsey) Price, Xavier Jimenez, Justin Kelsey, Emily Kelsey, Alexis Bacon and Nathaniel Bacon along with three great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held privately in the spring with family and friends. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
