Joan Ann (Welsh) Kucharik, age 76, wife of the late John A. Collevechio and the late Denis Kucharik, of Audubon, PA passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 in the Paoli Hospital. Born in Tamaqua, PA, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Catharine (Hoffman) Welsh.

Mrs. Kucharik was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Parish. She worked as a secretary for the Methacton School District for 37 years. She was a past committee member for Lower Providence Township. She enjoyed traveling to her vacation home in Ocean City, MD. Mrs. Kucharik liked attending local music festivals, dancing, gardening, and playing cards.

Mrs. Kucharik is survived by one daughter, Sharon Hamel of Collegeville; one son, John Collevechio, companion of Denise Opiela of Eagleville; one brother, Herbert Welsh of New Ringgold, PA; one granddaughter, Brittany, wife of Christopher Kulp of Limerick; and her companion, David Morris. She was preceded in death by one sister, Jacqueline Jewells.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1260 South Trooper Road, Norristown, PA 19403 on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. J. Jerome Wild. Burial will follow in the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. Friends will be received at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 7:00-8:30 PM, and Wednesday morning from 9:00-9:45 AM at the church.
