Joann Dru (Brown) Masi, age 57, wife of Dana Masi, of Charlestown, PA died suddenly in her home on Monday, November 7, 2011. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Edward C. and Drucilla (Bowman) Brown. Joann worked as a Director of Clinical Data Management for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and retired in 2010 after thirty-six years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in West Chester and a volunteer at the Paoli Memorial Hospital Breast Center. Joann was an avid reader, a lover of nature, a devoted grandmother, and most importantly, the pillar of strength, generosity, and kindness for all who knew her.
Joann's legacy lives on through her daughter Danielle, grandson Riley Edward, son-in law Jason, sister Kim, brother-in-law Kevin, brother Edward, sister-in-law Lee, brother Michael, nephews and nieces, Drew, Blake, Cameron, Laura, Melanie, and Amanda, and her beloved dog B.B.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a Memorial Service at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 W. Pleasant Grove Rd. West Chester, PA 19382 on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the West Chester Food Cupboard, 545 E.
