Joann Elizabeth Moore, 69, of Morgantown, PA, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday June 18, 2023. Born November 30, 1953, in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Robbins) Moore. She was the sister of the late Donald Joseph Moore.

Joann initially worked in graphic arts until she discovered her passion for nursing. She worked on the IV Team at Paoli Memorial Hospital and as an Oncology Nurse at the Paoli Cancer Center for over 30 years. She absolutely loved being a nurse.

In her free time Joann enjoyed walking with her dog, kayaking, gardening, reading, and lunching with friends. She also volunteered at the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.

She is survived by her niece; Sherry Pryor, great-nephew & niece; Ryan & Sydney Pryor, Sister-in-Law; Virginia Clark-Moore, and her beloved pets; Baxter, Charlie , & Oliver.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Good Shepherd Chapel at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road Birdsboro, 19508.
