JoAnne F. Hurowitz, 79, of King of Prussia, passed away on March 17, 2022 at her home. Born in Abington, she was the daughter of the late Edward Ferguson and Frances (Cellini) Ferguson. She was the loving wife of the late Neil Hurowitz, Esq.

She was a member of Congregation Beth Tovim, Philadelphia.

JoAnne and her dear husband Neil were partners in life, and business, where she managed his law office for many years. JoAnne was an avid reader who loved crossword puzzles, British programs on public television, and Jeopardy! Friends and family were extremely important to her, and she always stayed connected to those she loved by sending out cards and letters for every holiday and occasion. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and summering with them in Cape May Point.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn H. Montare, wife of Alex, two grandchildren, Aidan and Leah, her brother, Edward Ferguson, Jr., her cousins, two nieces and a nephew. In addition to her parents and husband, JoAnne is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Barbara Jacobs.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 12pm at Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery, Valley Forge, with a Remembrance gathering immediately following the burial. Anyone wishing to make a contribution in JoAnne’s memory may donate to a charity of their choice
