Joanne M. Lucas, age 59, of Royersford, PA died Friday evening, February 1, 2013 in the Parkhouse Providence Pointe Nursing Home, Upper Providence Township, PA. Born in Pottstown she was a daughter of Anna E. (Novak) Lucas, of Royersford, PA and the late Paul A. Lucas.

Our beloved Princess Joanne's favorite interest was shopping and she was quite a collector of various treasures. Joanne was much loved and cared for by her family, friends and adopted family on the North 5 unit at Parkhouse and in the recent weeks by the staff on North 6. She received the utmost quality care, love and respect by everyone at Parkhouse. Joanne is sadly missed and will be in our hearts forever.

In addition to her mother, Joanne is survived by sister: Marcia L. Lucas, of Royersford, PA; four brothers: Dennis, husband of Christina (Blake) Lucas, of Pottstown, PA; Gary E. Lucas, of Pottstown, PA; Stephen C., husband of Theresa (Bauer) Lucas, of Royersford, PA; James P. Lucas, of Royersford, PA; sister Elaine C. Edwards of Pottstown PA, and many nieces and nephews.
