Joanne Marie Walters, age 57, of Coaldale, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of Sandra L. (Briel) and Richard R. Brewer.

Joanne was a friend to everyone. She loved the beach, her cats, family, and especially her grandchildren. She was a special soul with compassion and kindness in her heart. Joanne was invariably selfless, projected nothing but positivity, and never complained about anything. Her sense of humor was unmatched. Joanne could really make a person laugh! She had a strong faith in the Lord and prayed for you whether you knew it or not. In most situations, Joanne was known to live by and believe that, "everything is going to be fine".

She is survived by her son, David Z. (Nikki Bruno) Engle, her mother, Sandra L. Brewer, her siblings, Richard A. (Mariela) Brewer and Diane Bearde; two Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Richard R. Brewer, David L. Engle, and Thomas Walters Sr.
