Joanne E. Warfel, 47, of East Coventry, went to be with her Lord, on Sunday, September 24, 2017 in Reading Hospital. Born on January 1, 1970 in Aston, she was a daughter of Carol H.W. Kulp, wife of Daniel G. Kulp, of East Coventry and the late Willis W. Warfel, Jr.

Joanne used her education to help other special needs children. She had a great love for people, especially for the children at Coventry Church of the Brethren, where she had been a member.

She loved to be creative with her hands and enjoyed beading, knitting, crocheting, making jewelry and many other types of crafting.

In addition to her mother and step-father, Joanne is survived by her sister: Lois W., wife of Elliott Lanser, of Pottstown; two nephews: Joshua Lanser, of Pottstown and Noah, husband of Tiffany Lanser, of Pottstown; and uncle: Gordon A. Herr, of Lancaster.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Coventry Church of the Brethren, South Keim Street and East Cedarville Road, Pottstown. Officiating will be the Rev. Mark Muthler. Interment will be held privately in the Limerick Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joanne's name to the Coventry Church of the Brethren, 946 Keen Road, Pottstown, PA 19465.
