John C. Daywalt, age 60, of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, formerly Norristown, where he lived most of his life, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, in the Reading Hospital. Born in North Charleroi, PA, he was a son of the late Charlotte (Clark) and John N. Daywalt.
John was a hard worker and enjoyed working full time at Aldon Foods. He was an endearing and loyal friend. Most importantly, John was a loving and caring father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and was always there for anything they needed.
An avid Philadelphia sports fan, John was passionate and an eternal optimist about the Phillies and the Eagles. He enjoyed playing and watching golf. He was an avid reader and history buff. John was lighthearted and loved to laugh.
John is survived by his children: Joshua Daywalt, Jesse, husband of Leah Daywalt, and Brandi Daywalt; grandchildren: Anthony, Charlotte, Jackson, and McKenzie Daywalt; siblings: Edie, wife of Dennis McCole, Kirk Daywalt, and Tom, husband of Jennifer Daywalt; and nieces and nephews: Liana, Jack, Travis, Matt, and Betsy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Officiating will be Pastor Dan McDowell. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
